Marcello Osso is owner and president of Professional Tile and Marble Corporation. Professional Tile and Marble has been in business for 10 years, creating and installing high-end marble and tile-detailed rooms in the New York tri-state area.

Born and raised in Italy, (see history for more), Marcello started out as an apprentice at the age of fifteen and spent six years honing his skills before bringing his burgeoning expertise to New York. Another six-year apprenticeship followed before Marcello ventured out on his own.

Since discovering his passion for stone work and tile installation as a teenager in Italy, Marcello Osso has strived to maintain the integrity of that tradition. He has personally trained his current staff of eight craftsmen, ensuring his high standards are met. The result is the dazzling work you see throughout this site.

Some of Professional Tile and Marble's special areas of expertise include master bathrooms and staircases. Professional Tile and Marble has techniques that are little-known in this country for the creation of staircases.

Slab work and glass tile are two of the many areas the company enjoys working in a great deal. Marcello admires the natural beauty inherent in slab work. Glass tile is an area that has recently grown in demand, with amazing results.
